This novel reads like truth behind the headlines, and exposes the ugliness of politics and world disorder. It leaves a mix of satisfaction that your worst suspicions of the elite are real. The author did another great job as he marks another incredible performance as one of the best thriller writers of the generation. It’s complex yet very entertaining. The political scenario in this book seems to be true and it’s scary to think what people will do for money and power. As usual a lot of action and a great read.
It is must-read novel of the summer and all-consuming story rages along, bright and scalding. It truly captures the minds and hearts of each of the three main characters, as well as the spirit of the India that the author wants to present. Fair warning, what you will discover about human nature within these pages is not pretty. Although there are moments of levity and/or beauty, this is ultimately a very tragic story. It will leave you saddened and infuriated without the satisfaction of redemption. That said, it is a brilliant commentary on human nature, familial love, politics and how fear and influence can dictate justice.
